  1. It may be against the licensing rules in some states, you'd have to check your state. Good policy requires positioning the swings so kids can't easily walk in front of or behind them.

  2. You're confusing is it legal with is it safe.  Swings can be used unsafely but a supervised swing is safe.  Find out what the preschool's policy is towards supervising kids on swings or making the area safe.

  3. If the law's arm stretches so far as to take a swing from a child, than perhaps the law needs to be taken from the pre-school enviroment.

Kids learning self-governance seems like a good policy.

  4. No!!!!

  5. In Sydney, I've never seen a swing in a preschool environment. It could be against the regulations here. Check the regs - you can get them from your local council. There are very stringent rules on what you can and can't have (sometimes too stringent).

  6. swing yes, swinger club prolly..

  7. Not at all. Most have swings.

  8. No. There is no law against it but each school should have safety precautions.

  9. No, it's not.

  10. No, it's not against the law.

I think what is confusing you and some of the other answerers is that in many places there are regulations about placement of various playground equipment.  Swings have to be a certain distance from other play equipment, to prevent children from jumping/falling from a moving swing to another child playing on a climbing structure.  Depending on the distance required, many preschools have opted to not use swings, as they are seen as poor utilization of limited playground space.

  11. Not at all!

  12. Yes if you put in a swing i will find you!!! I will make you regret you purchased that cheap plastic swing!!!!! Your parents wont Love you.

  13. No.  As long as the children are supervised everything will be fine.  I worked in a daycare and we had swings.  Now I have my own daycare and I plan on buying a swing....

  14. No . . . Of course not.

  15. probably in some states, but i know not in Georgia where I used to live, I saw that setup a few times.

  16. no, where would you get a weird idea like that?

  17. no it's not . o don't think that it is against the law to have a swing in a preschool environment.

  18. No, you just have to follow rules about how close other objects can be to the swing (such as shade covers, edging around the swing area).

  19. No it isn't. As long as you make sure there are no ropes, strings or chains that can get wrapped around a child's neck and choke them. If you have chains or ropes holding up the swing, I would suggest putting thick plastic tubing around the chain/rope to prevent any choking.

  20. I hope not!  It's better to learn the properties of gravity when you are young, light and resilient.

  21. No Way!!! As long as it is up to code as far as safety. It has to be approved.

  22. No, not at all. In the contrary, it is w elcoming environment for Pre schoolers allowing them to develop their mind in a playful environment such as a swing or a playground. My mother owns a daycare herself. I hope I was of great assistance.

  23. no it shouldn't be...unless you are a child molester

  24. Yes, you will get arrested and the maximum sentence is 5 years in prison.
