  1. It is called "babysitting" and it is perfectly legal to babysit.


  2. I would think that in-home daycare without a license is called "babysitting" which isn't illegal. I think you would be fine, at least for a certain amount of kids.

If you babysit someone who is not family and you are over 14 there is absolutely nothing wrong with it however, there is a limit on the number of children you can care for at a time without a license (depending on your state), and yes it is true THE BABYSITTERS CLUB SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN TROUBLE......

  4. Its not against the law to care for children in your home.  But there is a limit to the number of children you can watch without a license.  I don't now the details, but I'm sure that you could call your local DCFS or CPS agency and they could give you specific details.

  5. No; and from experience, a daycare is only as good as the people who run it, licensed or not.
