  1. No.

  2. it is not okay. so dont

  3. depends on where you live. Where I live there's no specific age, only that they have to be able to handle themselves and know what to do, be mature enough to know what to do if something happens.

  4. why are you plotting something? Dont do that.

  5. Yes it is.  In order to babysit a child has to be at least 12 years of age, and in order for a child to be home alone overnight a child has to be 14 years of age.  Obviously 10 and 11 are neither 12 or 14

  6. No legal age limit, just guidelines.  It is up to the parents to determine if they think their child(ren) is/are mature enough to be left home alone.

  7. No, it's not against the law.  Every state has different guidelines regarding when children can be left home alone, but that is all they are...guidelines.

  8. If it isn't, it should be.

My daughter is 11 and would be worried sick if she woke in the night and found her parents gone.

  9. Yes, however I think is ok to leave them alone for up to 1 hour during daylight hours.

  10. yes, legally they must be at least 12

  11. It depends on where you are from.  In Ohio there is no such law.  The red cross gives babysitting/childcare classes to Children who are at least Eleven years old.

They are old enough to baby sit but I am not so sure that they are wise and experienced enough to be alone at night.  Every child and person's maturity levels are different.

I wouldn't advise leaving them alone at night. They are still children.
