In Monopoly, when you draw the card that says you choose whatever space you want to go on and go on it, is it against the rules to land on the "GO" space so that you get an extra $200 (or $400 depending on how you play)?

  1. lol, well i didn't even know there was that card, and i play monopoly a lot, have u got a standerd vertion?

Well anyway, if it says that, then it can't be against the rules.

    Hope i helped

  2. Never heard of that card. However, it should be possible (based on logic and what the card reads) and it is not breaking any rule in anyway.

However, I guess if you want to come up with a house rule, I would be logical for you to impose a ban on choosing "GO" when you pick this card. If you allow it, it would be harder and take longer to complete the game as people who get more money and people will not get bankrupt.

  3. I've not seen that card before; you must have the newer version of Monopoly.  Does it not say in the Rules on what to do?  I'd check the rules first, and if it's not in the rules then I'd say, "GO for it!"

    Good Luck!

  4. ONLY IN YOUR GAME

  5. Whatever you want to do there would be appropriate.  Specially since that card doesn't exist.

  6. Never saw that card-You are not using a 'Finance',' Life' or' Careers' card, perhaps?  Going to a site related to a specific set would enable you to use a rail location[For Example] to go to Reading RR and pass GO. There are no Bonus amounts- landing on Chance or Community  Chest after passing Go would give you that effect. Free Parking ,although played that way has no special, benefit.

  7. I've got that card on one of my Opolies, but I don't remember which one (I've got over 100).  I remember it being used to buy the highest priced property (read Boardwalk).  You can go to any space except the one you are on.

  8. Man the others dont knw nothin.if its in tha book who cares u play how u want 2 play.u can make ur own rules so do what u want 2 do.Who cares get $600 if u want 2.
