  1. Yes, its Slander.

  2. Slander, not to mention being jacked up. Why stoop so low?

  3. illegal, even if you are underage which I am assuming you are.  Yes you can still get into trouble.

  4. LMAO...allegal???  Now that's classic! Becky...c'mon now. (shaking my head)

  5. yep

    slander

  6. yes. and its illegal. with an i.

  7. i don't know if its legal to put them up when they don't know about it, but it's  a lot safer..

  8. Possibly slander if they're stating lies.

You could sue them in civil court.

Also, if they are posting on other persons' property or govt. property, they can be charged w/littering or trespassing.

  9. No it is not, unless what is on the posters is untrue and the person who put the poster up knows it is untrue.  Being disrespectful (i.e. stating your own opinion without telling an outright lie) is not illegal and definitely *not* slander despite what some of the other answers say.  Freedom of speech and all that.  Otherwise many election posters would be illegal, right??
