Is it alright for a husband to call another woman, babe, love, sweethart. ?

If your man knows that you don't like it when he says to other women, babe, sweetheart and uses the word love...but he only dose it when i am not around. but when i over hear him say these thing, he just says that he sorry it's just an habit and not intentional and i shouldn't make a big thing out of it. So is i'm making a big deal out of it or what.
