is it alright for a married men to spend most of his time with his mother instead of with his wife and children. Meaning when at parks leaving the family to go with his mother or sleeping over his mothers house for no apparent reason. I want to know your opinion.

That sounds crazy.  The wife should always come first and then the children.  I would definitely approach him and discuss his behavior.  His mother should be ashamed that her son would act in such a way.  you have every right to be upset.  Best wishes for handling the situation.

I don't think it's right, but it may not be all too uncommon. Most men feel the need to take care of their Mothers - after all, their Mothers took care of them growing up. If she has special needs it's understandable, but if not, then old dude needs to grow up, stop being a Mama's boy, and take care of the family that HE created.

no way!!!! he has his own family he needs to be with.  he got eighteen years with his mamma he needs to stop being a mamma boy and man up!

I might be wrong but it sounds like to me that he is unhappy with his home life. "I'm not pointing any fingers" please don't take it wrong. I could understand if his mother is ill and needs someone there with her.

The two of you need to sit down and talk about things.
