Is it alright for me to drink beer when i have a sore throat?

i am going to a party tonight and i am gonna be wasted. i havent been to a party since months. i really dont wanna miss this one . but i have got a sore throat this morning

Probably not :: The carbonation in beer can irritate your already inflamed and sore throat. Of course the more beer you drink the less you'll feel your throat - until the next morning!

If I were you I'd stick to wine or booze. Or water!

Its always OK to drink beer.(just dont take any medicine for your throat prior to the party)

Yes, just don't take any cold medicine while drinking, and be sure to get plenty of water today and tomorrow (while sick you need to stay hydrated, and beer dehydrates).
