  1. you will be ok just let him/her know of pregnancy and duration

there is no x-rays taken that will harm you or your baby

  2. its ok because hes not touching ur belly he's checking your eyes

but its good for him to  know ur pregnant because he might use a machine that could transfer waves  that may bring some side effects to the baby.

  3. Sure, there is nothing they will do that will harm the baby.

  4. Yes, but don't let him dilate your eyes or your kid will be bug-eyed.

  5. The eye doctor is a doctor - tell him you're pregnant if it's not obvious and he'll ultimately make the professional decision about whether or not having your eyes tested is going to make any difference to the health of your baby. It sounds highly unlikely that there is any reason to be concerned.

  6. I'm sure your question has nothing to do with the babies health risk.

Your eyes can change a lot during pregnancy , and after again when your body goes back to normal.

So any results they get now could be different again in a month or two.

  7. Well, when I was around 22 weeks pregnant with my son, I made the mistake of getting my eyes checked and getting prescribed sunglasses while pregnant. They were okay throughout my pregnancy and about a month after... but after that, the prescription was stronger than it should have been. I had to get another prescription done because I got tired of the headaches my sunglasses were giving me. It's okay to get a checkup, but you'll need another one later because the pregnancy messes up your vision so the one you get now won't be accurate.
