  1. It can cause it to slow a little but no difference would be noticed, I would remove them thou, as they are not needed.


  2. no they are empty.

  3. They will take a minimal amount of storage space obviously, but no they will not affect performance at all.

  4. If they once held significant amounts of data subsequently deleted, it might have some short-term impact because they'd tie up room in your tablespace until you compress them to free it up again. Other that that, it shouldn't have any noticable effect.
