Is it alright if I put my mice's food out on a birdfeeder?

Will the birds like it, or would they be alergic to it?

  1. When my finches ran out of seed i used mouse food without the pellets and they ate it.


  2. if they dont like it, they wont eat it. if theyre alergic to it....

    i doubt they will, theyre birds! they eat fries and whatnot.

  3. It depends on what you feed your mice. If you feed them seeds, such as millet, sunflower seeds, etc., that's pretty much the same as bird seed anyways. The birds won't be allergic to it, but do make sure you're giving them good food--ie. not old seed you aren't willing to feed your mice and just need to get rid of somehow; birds can't really judge if seed is good or not without eating some, you have to be the judge of whether it is good for them to eat or not. Seeds are fine; I wouldn't offer birds pellet-type rodent food, though.

  4. I doubt they will explode, if they don't like it they won't eat it.

    Your better off going to a local walmart or home depot to buy some cheap bird seed.
