Is it alright if i call in one time to my part time job?

because i start school and i told my boss that i could not work closing during the interview in june as soon as school starts and she denied it because i can close drive thru

its a part time job, if u dont need it to pay ur bills then call out.

say you're sick and that's it, but dont call more than an hour or two before your shift cause jobs tend to tell you to rest and come in later or something... too bad for them, everyone gets sick sometimes.
