Do you think it's a good idea to go to a bar and have drinks by yourself if you do not drive or anything. I know you can get a cab but sometimes you cant' get one after a certain time?

  1. Yeah! I don't see

    Why not

  2. there is nothing wrong with going out to a bar by yourself. in fact it shows a sense of independence that i kind of admire. but as a person with out that sense of independence, i would say to be careful about the people at the bar. make sure that it's a safe place to be under the influence of alcohol. make sure there is a way home, and that nobody tries to get you too drunk and takes advantage of you.

  3. Sure.  I have before, I even take a book and read while having a drink or two.

    Good Luck and have fun

  4. it is alright but I personally prefer to go with friends. it'll help prevent you from making bad decisions, such as going home with someone, and ensure that someone that knows you and cares for your well being is present. I always go to social situations with other people, especially if alcohol is included. anyone that is alone, especially a female, is more likely to end up in dangerous situations.

  5. just have a few drinks and dont get wasted.

  6. I wouldn't. If you go by yourself and something happens to you, no one would miss you until the next day.

I'm all for being independent, but with that comes responsibility, and the wisdom of knowing that there are some places you just don't go by yourself.

  7. Yes it's fine but let the bartender know you did not drive and your alone, or the doorman, They'll keep a eye on you, cuz if anything would happen at their place or on your way home from there, they could be in trouble. Always let someone know that works there your alone, NOT ANYBODY ELSE. Tell them your friends on there way.
