Is it alright to take a painkiller after drinking a few hours ago to help an insomnia induced headache?

Times are wastin for the last 4 hours that I been up do to these aches. Its a little annoying since I have to get up at around 8:15 to meet with an associate but this headache/insomnia has been keeping me up. Anyway, should I take a painkiller even though I just had one drink 3-4 hours. Unfortunately, I guess I can't convince the associate to hold the meeting at a later time oh we :(

You are fine.  Take the medication.  The drinks were long enough ago that you should not have any significant problem.  Just stick to the recommended dose.
