  1. hmmmm....i wouldn't mind using 20% liquid soap, but if it's making you feel guilty, you could make it a bit more concentrated. or you could buy FAIRY!!!!! lol or stick it out till you make more profits

  2. It will just make people use more AND be aggravated.  You didn't save any money and you pissed off customers.  Not a brilliant idea!

  3. I don't see anything wrong with it!  I do it in my own bathroom soap dispensers at home!  I know in the restaurant business, you have to save money where you can.  At least you have soap!  I've been in so many restaurants with empty soap dispensers... EWW!

  4. How about 60% water and 40% liquid soap?lt's way too diluted if you use 20%.

  5. Yes, that's fine. I work at Starbucks, and we do the same thing with our multipurpose cleaner. It does the same and it's easier to spray/wipe.

  6. That's pretty cheap of you. How much can soap possibly be? I wouldn't say it's a great thing to do but if saving money on soap is that important, go ahead.

  7. Nothing against it from an ethical and ecological point of view: you are not selling that product (but don't leave a label with the soap dispenser content on it , or correct it), you are saving money, soap and pollution.

Meanwhile from the marketing point of you you are taking a big risk in exchange of a little saving: your restaurant may really appear cheap if you save on small items. People may believe you use the same attitude with the raw materials of what they drink or eat: I know it is not like this, but, well, is a matter of perception. Pay attention that soap saving doesn't become too expensive for you. Why don't add a  plate in the bathroom saying.. proudly : "in this restaurant we care for the environment; soap has been diluted to an optimal ratio between cleaning power and environmental protection", or something similar?
