Is it amazing to you that Fox news uses Karl Rove for their dem convention analysis?

Is there any other station in the world that would think of using a republican strategy mastermind to provide analysis of a democratic convention with a straight face? Honestly....

I have to seriously wonder if I am hallucinating when I watch Fox. They should really have a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen "this is just comedy".

I guess all you want to hear from the analyst is "yes I agree", "yes, it's a great speech" and nothing so substance rather than a third angle view.

I love people who say what it is in their mind.  If they say it poorly, it's their lost.  If they say it truthfully, it's a gain for me.  Unlike people who just nod.

It is not surprising at all.  Why would you expect Fox "News" to have commentators that have something good to say about the Democrats?  In a way, maybe this is a good thing.  He can slip up and reveal some good ideas that the Democrats can use against McCain.  Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) Obama doesn't stoop to Karl Rove's level.

Well, they don't use him as a democratic strategist. They reference him as a campaign specialist. I think he just analyzes campaign decisions. He's a specialist in "how to get someone elected".

Not everything has to be so divided.

There is an old saying "when one sups with the devil, one uses a long spoon" .

This proves beyond doubt Fox is not to be uncritically believed and I will never watch it unless I am in say, the Denver airport waiting for a flight.   I would just as soon study the speeches Joseph Goebbels.  

Rove is just a partisan Machiavelli on the wrong side of history.  This underscores how deeply wedded to Rove's " fear and smear " politics they truely are.

What is your beef? FOX has given this convention it's 100% attention now for days and days giving us minute by minute glowing reports about this convention as if the whole world should stop and be involved in it! If they have Rove as just one of the hundreds commentators they've had on there  for crying out loud get over it! I'm so sick of it all I won't turn FOX on anymore until this thing is done and over with.
