Is it an Overdose?

Question

I drank a bottle of 17% alcohol and took two advil pills,, then I took two Ibuprofen..is that overdose?? How will I feel In a little bit??

No one mentioned the alchohol. The four pills of basically ibuprofin is a dose that is regularly prescribed by a doctor all the time, I take it all the time. It's hard on your liver as any painpills are and hard on your stomach but no biggy unless you are prone to problems with these. Its the alchohol that could cause a very sick girl and cause alchohol poisening. And yes you got attention this is not a way to go. You will lose conciousness and could quit breathing if too much alchohol is consumed. Hope you ok , seek help.

ok well hear ya go you will be fine you can take up to 12 ibuprofen at a time as long as you are directed to do so by you doctor its the equivalent of taking 600mg of motran now this in not good for your liver by any means but you should be fine. if at any time you start to have sharp abdominal pains or vomiting you need to go to the hospital also over the next couple of days watch out for johndis which is a yellowing of the skin and whits of your eyes this would be a sign that your liver is shutting down.

you do know that ibuprofen and Advil are the same medicine. you could have stomach bleeding and vomiting. What you have done is extremely hard on your liver. and taking more than the recommended dosage of one Advil every 4-6 hrs for adults and children 12 years and up is considered overdosing.
