  1. most likely it would be if you are active duty as you could be shipped overseas which could be considered an unstable environment for a child and adoption is a long and difficult process with home visits and such so you would have to be home for all that to occur.

  2. No. That would be discrimination.

  3. I would imagine that is this day and age there would be someone who would go out of their way to cause problems just so that they could feel that they had made a 'protest' about the military. Surely the Judge Advocate General's Department would have information on this subject.

  4. There can be obstacles but it can be done.

  5. There's a voice that keeps on calling me

Down the road is where I'll always be

Every stop I make, I'll make a new friend

Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,

Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Down this road, that never seems to end,

Where new adventure, lies just around the bend.

So if you want to join me for a while

Just grab your hat, come travel light - that's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,

Until tomorrow, the whole world is my home.

So if you want to join me for a while

Just grab your hat, come travel light

    That's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,

Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

    Instrumental Bridge

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,

Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

    There's a world, that's waiting to unfold,

A brand new tale, no one has ever told,

We've journey'd far but, you know it won't be long,

We're almost there and we've paid our fare, with the hobo song.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,

Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

So if you want to join me for a while

Just grab your hat, come travel light - that's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll find what I call home

Until tomorrow, you know I'm free to roam.

  6. It shouldn't be. My father and mother adopted both my sister and I while he was stationed in Korea. In fact, my biological mother made it a stipulation that I be adopted by American parents because she thought I would have a better life. Because my parents already had children, it made the adoption process easier. And the fact that my father was in the military was not an obstacle for him. I wish you the best of luck, and what you are trying to do for a lucky child, is a wonderful gift.
