Inside the house, officers found "Liberalism is a Mental Health Disorder" by radio talk show host Michael Savage, "Let Freedom Ring" by talk show host Sean Hannity, and "The O'Reilly Factor," by television talk show host Bill O'Reilly.

  1. No, I'm not surprised.  I don't think lawsuits should be brought against Savage, Hannity, or O'Reilly, just like how I don't think Marilyn Manson should have been held responsible for the Columbine shootings.  It might support the re-implementation of the Fairness Doctrine, though.

  2. Ted Kennedy is a killer who left the scene of his crime.   Bill Clinton is a rapist.  John Edwards is paying hush money to his mistress.  And Barack got his crooked friend to pay for the land around his house.

    So what's your point?

  3. Having those book in his home just tells me he wasn't eat plum up with the dumbass. Can you imagine what might have happened had they been Hillary and Bill's books?? Or maybe something by Nancy Pelosi??  Man, if that don't give you nightmares nothing will, I'd bet money you'd be thanking your lucky stars you wasn't in church that day.

  4. Ironically enough.  Even though all of the terrorist on 9/11 were Muslim and had performed a ,last rights of sorts, we're not suppose to link them with Islam.  But this koo-koo nut job had their books in his possession, it automatically connected with Hannity and others.  If it were Dr. Seuss would those children books have been banned?!  Maybe it showed intolerance because of his refusal to eat "Green Eggs and Ham!?"

  5. i only read tv guide on the toilet i try not too read to much because it makes my eyes get all blurry and they sting a lot

  6. Is it a surprise that all major cities are filled with crime and they are the most liberal places????

PEOPLE are responsible for their actions not some book they read....

    An

  7. Oh give it a rest! Do you condemn the Christian religion because some whack-job blows up an abortion clinic? Do you condemn environmentalists when some nutso greenie plows into a tanker or spikes a tree marked for being chopped down and kills a lumberjack? Did you blame meat-eaters when Jeffrey Daumer turned cannibal?

The point is... in case it escaped you... is that for every movement, religion, political party, etc., there will be extremists who will do awful things in their name through some perverse interpretation of the message.

The Conservative message is not to blame here... the warped mind of the killer was.

Edit: John Doe, your answer rocked!

  8. Lawsuits??????

    Are you kidding me??????????

It's opportunistic people like you who are sucking the system dry by suing for every little pickle.

Have you actually read Savage and Hannity's books?

Does these books in any way, shape or form advocate violence against liberals?

If the authorities removed the U.S Constitution from this freaks' house would you want the U.S government to be sued also?

    Think first.

  9. Funny you did not weigh in on Ted Kazinski when they removed the Communist Mannifesto from his shack, so what is your point about the unhinged on the right while numerous Liberal Americans went to fight with Al Qaeda. Adam Gadan and Mr. Lundgren were both from liberal Households.

  10. Yeah...that's really telling isn't it.

I think we should go into everyone's home and gather up all of their bad books and make bonfires out of them.  That will stop the senseless killings.

Or maybe he was just a kook and it had nothing to do with what books he had in his house?  You think?

  11. I'm not the least bit surprised.  Those books corrupt people's minds, just like their talk shows do, and only someone who's twisted to begin with would enjoy reading them.  I don't blame the books, though.  I blame the sheep-like mentality of the people who read them.

  12. Wow, this is a really sad commentary on right wing radio.

  13. No it isn't any surprise that an unemployed, loner took a gun into a church and killed a bunch of innocent people who were only there watching a children's program. The real hero is the man who stood up to him and tried to protect the others. I wish that I knew his name. This psycho killer was brain washed by  the neoConservative  propaganda into thinking that these people were  the enemy. I hope that the families do seek retribution from Fox news because both O'Reilly and Hannity only do harm, and not good, with their twisted logic. It is never a good thing when the news media uses unbalanced propganda in order to get votes. The news media in the USA is suspose to be the watch dog for the people, well Fox news is like the Master of vicious  propaganda, Adolph Hitler. who exploited everything that went wrong in Germany and blamed the Treaty of Versailles and the Jews. He finally convinced the German people  by ceaseless communication practices that they stood in extreme danger from corruption the Jews who were ruining the economic future of Germany. The end result was that the German people lost their freedom and the Gestapo and Storm Troopers combined to produce a terriable diaster.

We nust never forget our history and learn from it so we don't make a mistake like the people in Germany. I am all for reading  books but keep an open mind and don't take things literally. I don't think the Fox Propaganda machine  is healthy but I flip it on just to see what nonsence they are spewing - knowledge is a good thing.

People who live on the fringe of society are looking for an excuse for their failure in life so they will often become interested in a certain aspect of society, cult or radical religion which can fuel their needs. If they became obsessed and withdraw it becomes a mental health issue and  dire consequences can result. The books alone can not be blamed.

  14. I heard that he even owned a dictionary! He probably ate food and had a television also!

  15. I'm sure these books are essential reading for most "shooters".
