  1. It depends on the maturity level of the 7th and 8th grade students you are talking about. If their maturity level is that of a very unripe tomato, then no.

  2. Yes!  This is normally the time when the movie is shown in health class.   Since the average age of sexual activity in the U.S. is 14.3 years old, they'd BETTER see this movie before that!

  3. Do you mean an educational movie about s*x? Yes, that age is very appropriate, and necessary. Their hormones are in full gear, and they now have natural curiosity and feelings they've never experienced. They need information to help them figure out what is going on with their bodies, as well as the consequences of s*x (i.e. pregnancy, STDs, etc).

  4. if they teach about s*x education......not showing people having s*x

  5. If you mean s*x-ed those kids are way too late already for that.  In Puerto Rico they used to start s*x-ed on 3rd grade...it was the funniest thing, so I guess that is too early.  I say 5th grade is a good guideline.

  6. Yeah well children as young as 10 should be learning about such things as pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion and all sorts!

  7. h**l yes. they have probably all seen it in movies before anyways...

  8. yes i did when i was in 7th grade i had s*x ed but i didnt get the full out course till 9th

  9. What is appropriate is really up to the parents. I would say porno isn't appropriate, though adolescents watch p**n all the time. If it's educational and addresses topics like STDs, sexual assault and things like for people who are likely about to become sexually active I think that it's not only appropriate but necessary.

  10. I had it in eighth.

  11. if it is for educational purpose yes

  12. If it's educational, then absolutely.  They should be shown this stuff before 7th and 8th grade in my opinion.

When I was in elementary, we had a s*x-ed class that taught us the basics in grade 5.  They did part of it for the whole class, and then split the girls and boys up.  Girls learn about their periods and stuff, the boys learn about whatever it is that they learn about...

  13. That's when puberty starts. In the best system, we'd start teaching them before their hormones started going crazy. 7th or 8th grade, is good, but some students are (very sadly) pregnant before that level even.

  14. You mean s*x ed?  Or just X-rated?  If you mean s*x ed, for many of them it may be too late already.

Personoally, I don't care for formal instruction in s*x, the one-size fits all approach.  The part that kids need to know isn't all that complicated, but it should be conveyed by someone they trust and are comfortable asking questions.

  15. What kind of movie about s*x?
