  1. Sure, but I think it would appear hot for a summer wedding.

  2. NO, IT'S NOT!

  3. No.........

  4. Only if you're attending a funeral right after!  I guess it depends though. Does it have sparkles or sequins?  Is it sleeveless?  But generally in the summer time you want to wear lighter colors.

  5. It depends on the general attire expected. Is it an evening wedding? Then yes, but they might want a cardigan for warmth and this might be a way of adding some color too. If the wedding is a morning or early afternoon event then wearing something more colorful would be better... Maybe they could ask another guest, a friend or something, what they are wearing if they are really unsure what the norm will be...

  6. Well, it's more appropriate than wearing white.  Beyond that, it would depend on the wedding traditions followed by the family.

  7. More information is needed.

  8. No, all black is reserved for somber occasions or formal dinners/cocktail parties. While it may be more acceptable now, black shouldn't ever be worn to a wedding at all.

There are few things that look more out of place at a sunny afternoon party then "death in heals."

  9. sure if she's a 90 yr old widowed italian or geeek lady.

  10. Brighter colors are more appropriate for an afternoon summer wedding.  However, if $$ is tight and that's all she has to wear, she should wear it and have fun.
