  1. Sure, but it would have a better effect if it was handed out a day or two before the exam...

Technically, your study guide is your notebook and course materials, so a teacher who goes through the entire course's syllabus to condense it in an organized manner, letting students know what the key points and concepts are, is doing everyone a favor.  It's not easy for a student to think of it in these terms, but that's the way it is.  I would guess that those who studied didn't need it, while those who didn't study were the ones who got upset.

    Last minute cramming for info?  Sounds good!

    That is......IF it's his exam, it's his rules.

    If it's a standardized exam?  More like he's seen it and doubts you guys can pass without cheating.  In that case, he's helping and encouraging you all to cheat...probably because your failure will reflect on HIS teaching skills.

  5. yes because if its an exam then you should already know the material on the test....its not like he has to give you a study guide..
