My guy friend and I got drunk last night... I wanted to sleep over on his couch..but he wouldn't let me...and said his gf wouldn't approve...Yet...she approves of us drinking together?? By the way, he is in a long-distance relationship with his gf.

  1. Who cares about his girlfriend. He is your friend and you should be aloud to drink with him!

  2. You like him and want him to leave his GF for you. If I am right, then make this your Best Answer.

  3. well how would you feel if you were the girlfriend?

she probably just doesn't want to tell him he can't hang out with you

  4. makes sense. he's fine treating u as a drinking buddy, but 2 drunk people spending the night together alone has the propensity for a cheating disaster. sounds like a responsible boyfriend to me.

  5. i dont think there is a problem as long as you dont do anything with him..and i think its cool that he said no cuz even tho is a long distance relationship, he obviously wants it to work

  6. Its your choice have fun as much as you can cause when your alot older this opportunities wont come.hope its useful

  7. well i think that if she is okay with you guys getting drunk together then she should be fine with you sleeping over on his couch. it is not like you can drive when you are drunk so if he was a good friend he would let you crash on the couch. if he were my boyfriend i would not be okay with you sleeping over either but i also would not be okay with you getting drunk together.

  8. This sounds like he respects you.

Do you have a motive for getting trashed and wanting to stay over?

  9. It really doesn't matter what you think.  He's in a relationship with another girl.. not you.  Therefore, she comes first.  There's a difference in drinking with friends versus staying the night together.  He sounds like a real catch in the way he disapproves of such things!  You should applaud him for being one of the few RESPECTFUL guys!

  10. umm yea she might get ticced a lil about that

  11. I think it depends how well you guys know each other.  If you've been buddy-buddy with him for more than a few years, I don't see the problem.  But I duno, good on him for not leeting you sleep over.  That's really innapropriate.

  12. i think he was worried that if you stayed over something else might happen, and although we can fool ourselves and say that it wouldnt, we know that the temptation is just too great. but when you are just drinking, there is still that chance of something happening, but its no where near as great as sleeping on the couch

  13. I don't see a problem and good on him i wouldn't let the girl i got trashed with sleep in my house either my gf would go bananas.

  14. Actually, in my opinion, even though there is nothing wrong with a male and a female being friends, (most of my friends are male), he really shouldn't have another female at his house, without his gf present...in respect to her.  I wouldnt want my man partying it up with some other female.  He was a very smart man for not letting you sleep at his place.  That wouldnt have even been right.  So good for him.

Are you friends with his gf as well?

  15. It's definately appropriate if you are JUST friends and NOTHING more. If both of you think of more than that of each other, then no its not appropriate. Sleeping over is one thing... but being drunk and sleeping over... hmm thats a little pushing it a little. It just depends on how she feels, if she doesnt like it, then you being his friend have to respect that, as does he.

  16. No its not. As long as neither of you are trying to Get Some with each other.
