  1. You could just ask if you could spit on the coffin.  It would be as appropriate as a t**d on a wedding cake.

  2. That's horrible... but I couldn't help but laugh when I read it.

  3. Not if the funeral is in the afternoon...

  4. No. You are putting a "pun" on it. That would be a bit rude, I think. If you meant "good morning," that would be fine, but not as in the crying mourning type thing.

  5. I dont think this would be a good move babe!

  6. No.. it's not appropriate. not a form of respect for the dead.

  7. Nope.

  8. I would say "no." That is a sign of disrespect for the departed and the family and relations to the deceased.  It is a time for mourning and not a time for joknig around.  Be respectful to the mourners and the grieving.

  9. I don't think I have ever heard of it.  It is always a difficult time when offering your condolences at funerals, because you can so easily say the wrong thing just through sheer uneasiness.  I think it is always nice to go up to the person or family concerned and say hello and let them know your thoughts are with them and if there is anything you can do for them, just call.  Unless of course it is a very very close relative or friend in which case you will be grieving a lot closer to them.

  10. You should be in the funny papers.

  11. If the Funeral is in the Morning, it is acceptable to Wish someone a Good Morning. However if you are saying 'Good Mourning' as to mean Have a Good Mourn, then no.

  12. If someone would have said that to me at my moms funeral I would have wanted to slap them.

Don't say that.  Tell them its so sad!!  :(

  13. No! That's terrible!

The people who lost the person that passed away are sad enough. This would just s***w 'em up even worse.

  14. if you said that to any sensible person at a funeral you would be lucky if they didnt smack you

  15. That is terrible.

  16. Fo sho! Mourning is not only a time for sorrow, but to rejoice.
