  1. I personally would not do it because you risk falling and injuring the broken foot more.

Just take it easy until your foot heals. Do things you may not

have done in awhile that is easy like reading a book that you

may have wanted to read but have not had the time to do.

When it is fully healed, then do the active things like rock climbing etc.

  2. I agree with nascar24. Your body is attempting to heal. The more you mess with it, the longer it will take. Plus, in attempting to keep the injured foot from more harm, you may create a situation that you injure something else (perhaps the other foot). Then you will really be out of luck. If you are worried that you are going to get out of shape, then concentrate on low impact exercise from which you can isolate your injured foot. Stationary bike with one foot, upper body lifting and stretching. But if you are itching to get back on some rock, try to realize that if you make things worse, it is going to take that much longer before you will be given an all clear by your doc. If you are climbing indoors, I would be surprised by an establishment that would allow you to climb in the first place with such an injury. I know at my rock wall we dont.

  3. I'm going for short and sweet:

    Bouldering: don't do it.

    Top-roping: you're probably pretty safe.

    Sport: I wouldn't do it.

    Trad: I wouldn't do it.

    Free-Soloing- I wouldn't do it.

scrambling/slab climbing: you're probably pretty safe.

  4. well it is indeed possible as alot of people use climbing with 3 limbs (one not being used) as a workout, if you are intending to use this foot for using then i advise keeping the majority of weight on the other foot, i advise that if you are bouldering you dont go higher than a few foot and if using rope i advise top roping and not leading so that the likelyness of causing of injury is kept to a minimum, when top roping make sure the belayer is keeping the rope tighter than they normally would, as i said anything that could prevent that foot getting harmed should be followed through

  5. hahah, yes.

It's actually quite possible to climb with one foot, it's actually quite a good workout.
