Is it at all possible to get to London Bridge from Brighton with a ticket to London Victoria?

Yeah so long as your ticket says all London terminals.

There's a train that goes from Brighton direct to London Bridge (and then onto Luton) so you don't have even have to change trains, run by First Capital Connect.  The only downside is it stops heaps along the way, so might not be as fast as an express to Victoria then tube to London Bridge

It will be ok if the ticket says "London Terminals" as the destination. Either take a direct train from Brighton or change at East Croydon for a Victoria train.
