Is it at all possible to go to a casting call without any acting lessons or experience?

I can sing good.. I can act good.

I have NEVER taken a lesson on singing or acting.

help please, I want to be discovered.

The truth is, yes, it is possible.  And yes, some people get lucky and get "discovered."  The hard truth, though, is that even with acting classes and lots of training, it's still hard to break into the business.  And just singing and acting good isn't always enough.  

If it's really your passion, and you really want to work as an actor, you'll be willing to get the training, take the classes, and find ways to get the experience.  If you're not willing to do that, you don't need to be working in such a difficult industry anyways.

i guess it IS possible for you to go to a casting call, but professionals like to work with trained professionals! sure you may be able to dabble in acting, and sing a bit, but its not enough! I recommend lessons, and a good agency, but don't go to an open casting call without training, not trying to sound mean, but many people have been training for years, and they still haven't had a shot at fame, so don't try to steal fame from them without training, as the entertainment industry is a dog eats dog world!

1. You sing /well/ and you act /well/.  No one's going to cast someone not intelligent enough to know basic grammar.

2. Probably less than 1% of people are "discovered".  You seem young, from your typing abilities, which means you have even less of a chance.  Acting is a tough business, and hard to break into.  Start small, with community theatre and whatnot.

3. Take classes, if this is truly something you want to do.  Acting, voice, and dance.  If you want to make it big, you have to be a triple threat.

Of course you can go to castings with no experience, just don't expect to get any roles.  You may well be able to sing well, but it takes more than a good voice to get a part with singing.  You might think you can act, but how do you know whether anyone else thinks so.  It is not a job that anyone can walk into.  Get some experience and with hard work, you might just fulfill your dream.
