  1. put a fork in 'em.

  2. it's only preseason. i think they'll be average again this year

  3. Probably.  No offense, but they won 10 games last year because they had the easiest schedule in the NFL.

They beat teams that were crappy non-winning teams; like BAL (twice), CIN, SF, STL, BUF, MIA, NYJ, HOU.  The only good team they beat was SEA.

So 9 of their 10 wins were against crappy teams.

This year, they'll probably go 6-10.

  4. Yup.  but the other poster (mcpott)  clearly lives in a similar but alternate universe.  Their offense did well, but they have teletubbies as defensive backs.  And a 3-4 scheme which cant stop the run in a run heavy conference.

  5. After last year, expectations are high now.. I think they will do good this year on the offense.. Be concern more on the D.. division still belongs to the steelers both ends are good.. but Pats owned them..

    Go pats..

  6. Don't get too down during preseason. Preseason means nothing and is just a way to allow the team to prepare for the regular season while also looking at and evaluating new players. I have seen teams go undefeated in preseason and suck in the regular season, and I've seen teams go win-less in the preseason and tear it up when the regular season comes around. I don't think the Brownies will be like the latter. They have a good base of players who I think will be better than 8-8 and may go 11-5 or better.

  7. Their defense will still lose a bunch of games and in my opinion, Derek Anderson is just a career backup quarterback who started to show people who he really is in the 2nd half of the season and the Pro Bowl last year. We'll see how the Browns do in the regular season once he gets healthy. I think they'll win 8-9 games.

BUT the Steelers also have an incredibly hard schedule while the Bengals and the Ravens quite simply, stink. It's still possible that the Browns will win the AFC North.
