  1. Actually, it's not uncommon. A male begins to grow at a later time than the female, and may not stop until he is 18 or older. I suggest that you don't take pills if you feel this pain, and if it continues for more than 24 hours, try a pain reliever. If it then continues, attempt talking to a gaurdian, or look up the symptoms you are having on www.Healthline.com

    Hope it helps.

  2. in your dreams

  3. no, they're usual, Im 15 and have stopped growing other than 1/4 of an inch in the past year, and I get growing pains alot still.....and its completely normal.  and he probably has a long time until hes done growing.

  4. that is just normal & my son was about 5'5" at age 16 then by 18 was 6'3" and by 21 barely had a beard, whiskers, still growing even then

  6. My daughter is going to be tall and still has the pains. She was complaining about them last week . She said her legs and  knees hurt. These kids are growing by leaps and bounds

  7. It's normal to have growing pains in that age. Don't worry about having a sudden spurt of growth..it all happens gradually.

  8. he's 5'7? thats pretty tall... and what kind of gowing pains? it seems like he has grown if he's 5'7...

  9. no i know people who had growing pains at 18

  10. thats normal if you havent grown yet

  11. No

  12. Thats normal. Guys grow for a long time.

  13. no its not bad, im 16 myself. Your one of two growers: You get to about 15-17 then have a huge growth spurt, or you just grow over the years without hassle, like me, im 5' 10" and have grown from like 4' 8" in 04 to 5' 10" now. my dad and brothers were all like 5' 2" until like 17 then went to like 6ft.....

    its all different for everyone....

lol this jacob kid i know is like 15 and 4' 10"

  14. dont be surprised to see stretch marks too, my friend had a late growth spurt and has stretch marks on his back

  15. Growing pains are very common all the way into a persons 20's.  You just want to make sure they are actually growing pains and not something more serious.  Is there any possibility of trauma?  Is there a family history of bone disorders?

  16. Are you sure he has not had a "growth spurt"  He could be the height he is going to be.  Boys generally grow later than girls.  Grils have their height at 13.  Boys grow a little slower but should start a nice growth by the time they are 14.

At 18 there is a growth spurt and around 24 is another small growth spurt.

What was his height at 9 years old?
