Its spelled Guinea. How long are you going to leave them alone? You should have a responsible adult take care of them for you if you are going on holiday or something. Dont ever leave an animal alone or you could be cited for animal abuse.

two or more females should be fine, just make sure they have food and water. but piggies are not cannibals, they're herbivores. but never put two males (with the exception of brothers) or a male and a female (for obvious reasons) together. if you have a lone male, then, no, don't leave him alone for a very long time.

First of all, whoever just said not house two males that aren't brothers together is completely wrong... They can get along just as well as any female pair.

I wouldn't leave the guinea pigs alone for more than one night at a time, and if you do leave them alone for a  full day make sure they have twice the pellets, twice the water, & twice the timothy hay. Otherwise, ask a neighbor, friend, or family member to come over to check on them once a day and give them their food and water.
