Is it bad for my baby's back to let him sleep in his swing? He is 2 months old tomorrow (08,18,08). He love's to sleep in it but I don't want it to hurt his back. He will sleep in his crib but in the day time he often falls asleep in the swing, should I pick him up and move him to the crib or let him sleep in the swing?

  1. When my kids were really small I leaned in back all the way, and used the little head pillows that go in car seats and the slept in there swing all the time. Most of the time that is where they slept best. They are one and four now and neither has any problems so i'd say your fine.

  2. My daughter slept in her swing all the time when she was 2 mo. She had a little bit if reflux and she hadto be inclined. Her pedi said it was ok

  3. as long as he's reclined enough for his head to be stable, it shouldn't be a problem.  He was curled up inside of you in a little ball for 9 months :)

  4. No he should be perfectly fine in his swing. My son loved his swing as well and we had no problems at all. Eventually he'll get to big for it and be forced to go to his crib during the day so he won't be using it long enough to do any damage at all. Congrats on the new baby

  5. It'll be fine.  Whatever keeps him sleeping!!

  6. Hello.Babies will sleep anywhere. If he wa uncomfortable he would soon let you know.Just make sure he is not laying on plastic and sweating. If so,put a cover on the swing.
