Is it bad for my car battery to leave my ipod plugged in all the time?

my ipod is plugged into my car head unit and it stays on even when the car is off. will this drain my car battery?

Eventually it will. but it would probably take a couple of weeks. Ipods don't require much power

Go to checker and buy a small RV solar pannel, the kind that keeps batteries charged. Problem solved.

Yes. My neighbor wanred me about this first thing when I said I was considering get a jack to plug in my mp3 to my car. She said both her and her daugter had their car batteries die because of leaving the ipods plugged in.
