my friends truck was not starting, so she asked me if I could pass a little charge from my battery to hers. But then someone told me doing this would damage my car. Is this true?

  1. Its wont damage your car but it may mess up your alternator and battery, but one time wont hurt may drain your battery.

  2. If by pass charge you mean jump start (I have no idea what else you could mean) then no it won't. Make sure to have the donor car running at the time, and make ABSOLUTELY SURE you're connecting positive to positive and negative to negative. If you do not do this, sparks will fly and things will catch on fire. It is very hard to damage a battery, and jump starting by no means will damage a battery if done properly. 3. Yes, true, do not do this as it can really mess up the car!
