  1. yes! There is freedom of speech but what are you teaching younger ones that might look up to you! is that really being a good role model! and you dont want to get in trouble!


  2. Yes, it is a bad idea.  Even when parts of the words are blanked out, it is obvious what they are meant to mean.  Not only teacher will "hate" it, it will reflect badly on your own character.

  4. yes. teachers will think less of you, also it could be against school rules!!

  5. character study is wrong. There have been court cases based on limiting rights of students while in school. Such as Tinker v Des Moines.

    I suggest you not wear the shirt because a teacher will likely tell you to go home and change or tell someone to bring extra clothes for you and will say it on the bases that the shirt is distracting students from their studies making your article of clothing the center of attention. Its the same as a school sending a girl home for wearing a revealing skirt or shirt. It distracts from learning.

  7. Shirts with those kinds of words can be considered offensive. Even shirts that have hookers, s***s, hoes, things like that. Just don't wear things that you think that might cause trouble. Religious things shouldn't cause trouble, people could cause trouble over that. Just tyr to use your best judgement.

  9. It's only a bad idea if you care what others may think, and if you care about being potentially suspended. At my school, they force people wearing obscene t-shirts to wear an ugly, oversized shirt with the school's name and mascot on it. Not worth it. But WORTH it if you don't care.
