Is it bad if mice have been in your house for more than 2 months?

there have been alot of mice in my house and there every where we put posion down and found like 7 dead in the garage. its so gross and the scary thing is they carry so many deiseies and i have 4 puppies if you know anything please letme know.

Stop using the poison. If one of your puppies eats a mouse that's eaten poison, guess who just got poisoned, too?

Also, you will have dead mice in the walls, smelling awful if you keep poisoning them.

Traps, kept where your dogs can't get to them, are the safest option for a house with pets. I know it seems barbaric, but a traditional trap will kill the mouse faster and less painfully than poisons or glue traps. You can also get live traps that just close the mouse in a box, and you can take it out to field and let it go, if you don't like the idea of killing them at all. But you have to check them twice a day so you don't end up with a dead mouse anyway.

Luckily, if you do find some dead ones, they really don't carry as many diseases and other such nastiness as people think they do. Just wash your hands after you dispose of one, and you'll be fine.
