Is it bad if she never starts a conversation with me?

I'm friends with this girl and I really like her, we have hung out a few times and we always seem to have fun, but she never starts a conversation with me on texting or facebook or anything. Is this a sign she isn't interested or what

It could be, but it could also mean that she is really nervous and doesn't really know what to talk about. If you guys have a lot of fun together, it is probably the second option.
