  1. Bad bad bad idea...how old are you? My mom, sister, aunt and uncle all did weight watchers and lost a ton of weight they all look great.  The key to weight watchers is that there are meetings you can attend so you can meet people who've gone through or are going through the same thing as you....Also if you could just find an hour of your day and go for a walk that would help a ton.

If you cut out all sodas and juices you can easily lose 5-10 libs just like that.

  2. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Developing an eating disorder will not help you, believe me, I know.

It will destroy your body and ruin your life.

It's bad that you don't have any support, but just try  to lose weight the old fashioned way------

A healthy moderate diet and exercise.

You will see results and they will last, and you will be happy with yourself and your life.

Don't ever think that an eating disorder will fix anything. You will only cause more problems than you already have.

Good luck with your weight loss!

  3. To tell you the truth, there is really only one way to lose weight without being hungry and tired from exercise all the time, but it is not bulimia or anorexia. My tips are to...

    eat breakfast

    everything in moderation

when you go back for seconds, take only 1/2 of what you started with

start exercising daily for 20 minutes, and over time work up to 40

avoid fatty foods like potato chips, cheetos, etc and have pretzel thins or pita chips instead

frozen yogurt instead of ice cream(sorbet works too)

eat slowly, it makes you think you are eating less

drink LOTS of WATER before and after your meal, but not during. It makes you feel fuller if iyour mind is telling you you're not full.

try to have a daily average of 40 grams of fat

    worry about cholesterol, not calories!

    stick with diet soda

    don't skip meals

Now and then, I think it would be nice if I could eat anything I want and then throw it up, but in reality throwing up after your meals destroys your throat, teeth, and stomach lining. It reverses what you were made as, and after a while you throw up whenever you eat and can't control it. So don't walk into the bathroom and stick your finger down your throat. Eat healthy, excersize often. If you do that, you will be healthy. Good luck!

  4. Eating disorders and never a good idea.  They will just build one problem ontop of another.  You first need to work on your depression problem.  (You've gotta fix what's causing you to eat before you can start to control that habit)  Are you seeing a counselor?

A place to start is to go see your doctor.  Tell them what you've been going through with your depression and your eating.  Ask what they suggest you do from there.

Good luck sweety, I hope you're able to find the help you need

  5. If you need to lose weight for health reasons, an eating disorder would just cause more. Also, you can't just decide to be anorexic or bulimic one day, it takes extreme self discipline, and if you can't stick to a diet I find it hard to believe that you could stick to that. Use your family's negative attitude as motivation to prove them wrong and lose the weight you need to. Diet and excercise are key. I emphasize EXCERCISE. I suggest the zone diet. I'm not a diet expert but I was watching a show about the fatest man in the world and he lost I think about 400 pounds on the zone diet. If he can do it, you can do it. When you're tempted just think "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels."

  6. You can't "turn" anorexic or bulimic. It's a psychological disease. The people who are anorexic or bulimic did not purposely set out to become that way.

It will backfire. You'll probably puke for a day and then be like "Oh my god, I miss food so much, I'm gonna eat a whole cake!"

  7. Oh goodness, of course don't become anorexic or bulimic!

Because if you were to do that anything that you would eat would be stored inside your body and the fat calories would boost and people balloon from that stuff, just besides that it isn't healthy.

Just eat healthy, exercise, and eventually the weight will blow off even though it might take a while.

It took me 3 years to lose 60 pounds, but that's just because I snuck a hamburger in there once in a while. Just be patient is what I'm trying to say here...

But you have the best of luck sweetie, I know that you can do it!

  8. no of course not. anorexia & bulimia are mental disorders, not diet programs. start eating healthier and exercise more. if you're healthy then that's all that matters, love your body the way it is. some people are simply built heavier than other people.

  9. I am over weight and I have thought about it too. It sucks to get to that point. That is really not the way to go. If you want to loose weight don't cut everything out. eat what you would normally eat but less. no snacks unless it is a bite size candy or some type of fruit. if you want to have ice cream, eat something more healthy for lunch and dinner. something grilled or a salad. Grilled and baked are the best ways to do it. but don't cut out the things you like just limit yourself and when you do decide to eat the fattening stuff, eat better for your other meals. 2,500 calorie diet would be good for you. its not too hard and you don't starve yourself through out the day. try www.mypyramid.gov

  10. its a flat out terrible and perhaps even fatal. ive experienced it first hand and i cant even begin to tell you how bad it was. weight is a huge issue nowadays and i understand that being 300 lbs is not your ideal weight but by turning bulimic or anoretic, you might lose the pounds but suffer a great amount (completely not worth it). I became cranky because i didnt get enough nutrients, my eyes were bloodshot from all the purging, my knuckles calloused as well from the purging.

if you want to lose weight, cut back the calories, just 200 for a month then the next month cut 300 from your original caloric consumption and keep moving down until you hit 2000 calories (the average amount for grown women). Also, if you have good imagination, pretend there are centipedes and spiders and maggots on the junk food youre craving so you wont want it anymore. You should also be careful of emotional eating, only eat when you are truly hungry (physical means). If you feel a craving coming on, tap underneath your collarbone, just under your palm (inside wrist), and underneath your eye about 20x each switching between the three...your craving will soon disappear.

  11. you should just start by cutting out proccessed foods, and exercising as much as possible, when ever possible. just ignore your friends and family. do what you need to be size healthy.

  12. you can't just turn anorexic or bulimic.  they are very serious medical conditions brought upon by mental issues.

all you have to do is cut out something you really shouldn't eat or really didn't need everyday.  then increase as you lose weight.  go for a walk.  all things you can do without support.

  13. Disregard what  people who doubt you say.  Keep your chin up and keep working toward your goal.  Don't resort to eating disorders.  Look at these videos for some ideas.
