  1. Nah, I wouldn't consider it bad or unusual. A lot of people I know have done the same thing.

  2. Its not bad but are ALL the classes full? There isn't a couple that you can get done this semester? A class may open if someone doesn't pay for it or decides to drop at the last min. I was also considering this but i got up early this morning looking for a class i want, to open up and it finally did! Also you can try taking to the counslers into letting you in, a lot of times when a class is full they still let some kids in, but you have to ask the teacher or a counselor. Good luck =]

  3. Common issue with freshman with their picks being gone as you have to register last.  Cheer up and find alternative courses or times to take.  Wont be the best schedule you thought you would have, but you'll make do.

  4. A bachelor's degree requires about 40 classes, a semester of full-time is only 4-5 classes.

If the 4-5 classes you picked are full, consider picking something else from the other 35+ classes you'll have to take.

Also check those classes you picked the day after school starts.  Many won't be full any longer (people drop or decide not to attend) and starting a day late isn't such a bad thing.
