well if you know how to do it right then no, obv. not.. i pierced mine twice in each ear... 2nd and third holes. u donnt have any infections, or any of that.. so if u want to, make sure u sterilize a needle or whatever ur doing it with.. and clean them with bactine. mine turned out just fine, so all of u who say they will get infected... not true. because my friend also pierced hers

i would say yes cause you could do it wrong then it can get infected with germs and it can be really gross. but at claire's they pierce your ears fro free with a purchase of like earrings or something. thats where i got mine pierced!!!! :D

It's bad to pierce anything by yourself. Trust me, I pierced my own ears a few years back and they got so infected that the infection spread down my neck and I had to go through all of this medical stuff to get it to go away. I know people who have pierced their own ears as well and have had similar things happen to it. Seriously, don't even go to Claire's I know people who have had bad things happen when they got theirs pierced there. Go to a jewelry store. They'll pierce them for free, you just have to buy the earrings. Same thing at Claire's so it's no cheaper.
