Is it bad that I'm a talkative girl?

Question

I'm 19, in college, and I get a lot of attention from guys. My friends know me to talk a lot but they say I'm interesting and I'm known for being funny (for example, I don't just sit around talking about nail polish or anything). I'm just hoping it's not s******g me over with guys. Most guys I know say that I'm easy to talk to, and shy guys love how much I talk, but I'm afraid it's hurting me. What do you think?

it's good to be talkative but don't over-do it..

the more you talk, the more likely you are to say something foolish. the more common you appear, yada yada yada. it will hurt you, no ones ever interested in an open book. be reserved, don't talk so much, people will wonder what you're thinking.

I am 21 year old male in college too, and  I love a talkative girl, who is funny and interesting, I am pretty quite and reserved guy so It is always a pleasure to be with a girl that is talkative

Most guys that I know of including myself, like girls who talk. Nothing wrong with that. You will meet more guys by being out going in the conversation. The easier you are to talk to you, the more you will find guys who feel more confident with you.

from wat u said..i think ur amazing and i think that u bein talkative makes its easier for guys to approach u so this means that u bein talkative (entertainingly) is increasing ur chances with guys !!

its fine to talk and some guys like when the gurls take the lead..but dont forget to listen too...if u dont ask things about him they guy with turn off. guys like to talk about them selfs too!! oh and only bring up and interesting story if it's on the topic!!

I can talk for England - Literally! ... and guys are always telling me to shut up - but I think thats rude - and I NEVER listen to them.... I just carry on talking till I get EVERYTHING of my chest! lol ... boy I feel SO much better afterwards!

Being able to express yourself is such a good thing , plus it means you're honest and open and people know where they stand with you

And the guys who tell me to shut up..... they love it really and would love a chance to go out with me - but I want a man who can handle a woman of opinion without ever telling her to bleeding shut up!!!

all i know is, with my bf, i'll stay on the fone 4 hours @ a time going bla bla bla bla bla bla OH! and bla bla bla! BLA! never gets to speak, well, almost never, we've been together for I'd say 7 months, and he's never complained. i've even asked him if i talk to much"no, i can't think of anything to talk about... keep talking." is baisicly what is said

any advice someone would give to a guy is to get her talking so thats pretty much covered

on the other hand, a guy might feel intimidated so it goes both ways

i also find it interesting that the girls say pretty much the opposite of the guys. hmm

No of course it's not bad. I'm 19 and in college also talkative girls are my favorite, because i'm kinda shy.
