Is it bad that I put motor oil in my lawn mower?

I didnt have any other at the time so I use that is that bad

no 30 weight oil is good why spend more for the other.!0w 30 will do.

no it wont hurt just dont mix a lot of different brands together if one brand doesnt fill it up,  its not good for the motor

Thtas what they call for sae 30 weight motor oil..The older models say not to use hd(high detergent) in them..and now some of the newer ones suggest it

It does not make a difference most 4 cycle motors use a straight 30 weight oil. Just do not use it if your motor is a 2 cycle pre mix with gas. that will blow your engine.
