Is it bad that i didn't put synthetic oil in my 2008 mustang?

i got a oil change today it has 3100 miles on it and i looked in the book and it said to use synthetic oil but i just put regular oil in it that u change every 3000 miles....will it hurt my mustang

  1. it wont hurt it but it was designed to use synthetic oil...with the mileage that you can get out of synthetic oil..it works out to be the same money....use what the engine was designed to use....synthetic


  2. wow, you can afford a new car and gasoline, but not the oil. you are penny wise, pound (dollar) foolish

  3. It's highly unlikely that non-synthetic oil will hurt your engine if you change it every 3000 miles, however on your next oil change I would use a synthetic, if for no other reason than to keep your warranty intact.  

  4. If it requires synthetic oil, use it. The warranty would be voided if you don't.  

  5. get the oil changed to synthetic asap the mixing of normal and synthetic is death to oil seals.
