  1. Yeah, sometimes I too look forward to dying...well more like experiencing something better than here, not the dying itself part of course....

For awhile I didn't care if i died young, and actually hoped i wouldn't get too old.  But then I think about what if someone in my family dies young, that would be so hard on me.  OR anyone close to me dying.... I've never experienced that.  I don't know what I'd do.  I then think about other people, how hard they may take me dying. I would rather live a long life for them.

I have been thinking about this because I just found out that I have a serious medical problem, that is easy to take care of, but not exactly cheap either.  It may take a few more months to save enough money.  I have thought about not getting taken care of... But then, thats practically suicide.

  2. Well, it's not good. I used to want to escape rather than deal with the problems before me. I'm much better now, but I still have a hard time with it sometimes. Life can be overwhelming, I agree, but since you are going to stay with us you might try dealing with a small amount of life at a time until you can weed through. It really can and does get better. You may want to see a therapist who can help you get and keep on track.

  3. I'm not sure if it's "bad". Life on Earth really sucks. I can't blame you.

  4. Well, most people who look forward to dying are Christians, knowing that our belief in Jesus Christ as our Savior will lead to a life in heaven.

I use metaphors to explain things so here it goes: So it's almost like an exciting thing, death. Have you ever waited to meet someone that you loved at let's say an airport and the whole time you are so excited that you can't wait for the plane ride to be over to meet them. I mean the plane movie was good and the food was nice, but you want to meet the person on the other side?

It's not necessarily bad to want to die because it's a natural part of the cycle of things. but suicide is not acceptable. you are throwing away God's gift. If somone gave you a gift would you throw it away in front of them in the nearest garbage can...no

God wants you to live a good happy life here and enjoy his gift of live to us, while preparing for the afterlife. But those you reject Jesus don't have all that much to look forward to in the afterlife.

God also wants us to make the most of this life.

It's like going to a party and hating the whole thing just waiting for the birthday cake. The person who is throwing the party would be offended. Why not try to enjoy the party?

For a long time I have had a fear of dying, the unkown, but Christians don't fear it as much knowing that something better awaits us.

  5. I think you should enjoy life while you have it. You only live one life. Make the most of it and appreciate what you have. If you want life to be good, then it will be.

  6. No, it's not bad. i feel the same way sometimes, but i dont look forward to other people dyeing. i feel the same as you do. i want to see what its like. there will be no more taxes :)
