i feel it maybe filled on saturday depends on time. If short limited time is available, please earlier do it before closed. However, it has been said that most weekends always close such as saturday and sunday. You's d better do it on weekdays.

Most of the time you usually just turn your application and they will get back to you. Where I work, my boss thinks its annoying for people to ask to talk to him when they are turning an in application, but other managers may be different.
