  1. Yes. You really should not have more than 2 per day. This actually means 2 servings. The larger cans normally have 2 to 3 servings in them so having 3 of the Sobe Rush's was equivalent to 6 energy drinks.

Most energy drinks are like suped up sodas. Extra sugar and caffeine. Also extra ingredients to give you energy like a few B vitamins, ginseng, guarana and more. Too much of these at a time can turn your stomach and make you real jittery too.

There is also the problem that caffeine dehydrates so once the effects of the stimulant wear off you will then also feel extremely tired and lethargic if you do not replace that water. The caffeine may have lead to the diahrreah but it may have been another ingredient too.

First thing you need to do is drink some water. Reguardless of if the caffeine is causing the diahrreah or not you are loosing water quickly and need to replace it to recover quicker.

Even if you use a healthy energy drinks you should not use more than 2 a day. I use XS Energy myself. They provide energy with B vitamins, much more than regular energy drinks. They have 0 sugar, 0 carbs, and 8 calories. They have caffeine free versions but even the ones that have caffeine it is not a jacked up amount like regular energy drinks have. XS still recommends against having more than 2 in a day.

Now another thing that you need to think about is how many calories you took in drinking those Sobe drinks too.

  2. Umm yes, thats probably from all the sugar & caffeine mixed with whatever you've eaten. Drink some water and you'll be alright.

  3. Well, yeah. Besides the active ingredients Caffeine, Guarana & Ginseng many of the following CAN cause the symptoms you describe if you take too much.

Carbonated Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Citric Acid, Taurine, D-Ribose, Sodium Citrate, Natural Flavor, L-Carnitine, Inositol, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Monopotassium Phosphate, Gum Arabic, Monopotassium Phosphate, Glycerol Ester of Wood Rosin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Caramel Color, Folic Acid, Beta-Carotene (Color), Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12).

  4. the amount of sugar and caffeine not to mention the carbonation and every other preservative in those drink will do quite a number on your stomach. is it bad...i guess not necessarily. is it good...my heavens, no!  caffeine and sugar can cause diarrhea easily. also consuming that much caffeine is really hard on your heart. and all that carbonation...if you drink that amount on a regular basis, it can cause stomach ulcers. this is all spoken from personal experience. i haven't been able to drink a carbonated drink without it hurting my stomach (im talking pain!) since 2003. [and im only 21...is that sad or what?]

enjoy your drinks, but please be careful! ulcer and heart medicine can get kinda pricey!
