Is it bad to drink energy drinks 3 times a week?

dude, i drink 2 or 3 energy drinks a DAY. sometimes i get those 5 hour energy shots and chase them with a Rockstar. mmm, delish.

I drink an energy drink every day (but dropped coffee completely to quit smoking). I also try to maintain a healthy lo-carb, lo-fat, high protein, high fiber diet, drink a lot of water, and exercise regularly.  I have had no adverse affects so far.

Most adverse affects come from overconsumption (exceeding the recommended limit of 3 cans a day...which is clearly printed on most products).

Also, the two post above this one, the person plugging the FRS is part of an affiliate program that gets $18 for each signup, and XS energy drink is an Amway product, which the (admittedly done coothly) poster will offer to sell you when you contact them.

Listen to your body, I feel very sluggish if I have too much caffeine or too much sugar.

Not if you're drinking XS Energy drinks. Their all sugar free, barely any caffeine and 8 calories and there's 9 great flavors. It's also not sold in stores. So if you're interested email me and i'll tell you where i get mine (=

the worst energy drink is the one with the most sugars and abd stuff.  it's not bad, persay, to drink energy drinks 3 times a week, i think if you drink more it could be bad, but as long as you don't drink more than 1 a day, 3 a week, then you should be good.  limit yourself, take control man!!

Well it can be if they are loaded with sugar and caffeine. That isn't good for you. I'd try energy drinks that are made with less sugar and caffeine and more natural ingredients. They''ll give you a more sustained energy anyway, which means no crash later on in the day.
