Is it bad to drink two cans of soda everyday?

I've been drinking a lot of soda lately (or a lot in my opinion).

I've been going through two cans of soda everyday for two weeks. This is mostly what I drink for the day.

I don't drink much water after drinking the soda. (Maybe just a cup or two at night)

If I continue this, how badly will it harm my body?

  1. If it makes you happy do it! your lucky if you don't get fat or bad teeth.. but if you feel good do it i would..i think they say just about everything will kill you so what ever!


  2. probably...because soda has an acid that eats all the enamel on your teeth.you should drink allot of water because it helps your teeth fight the cavities.no it won't harm your body at all.

  3. Yeah it is pretty bad, drinking 2 sodas a day raise your chances of diabettes a lot. id suggest trying to stop and if you cant try diet sodas instead.

  5. well 4 cans of soda a week can make you gain a pound a week, so ur gaining a pound every two days...and ur body needs water, most of ur body is made out of it. u cld get diahrea (dont know how to spell) and start to break out badly, or dehydrate.

  6. There's worse things you could do (and drink). The soda won't dehydrate you that much, but if there's a high amount of sodium and sugar, it could.

    I'd worry about the sugar intake the most -- it's a LOT of sugar. If you're not exercising regularly, you will gain weight from all the excess calories from the sugar.

  8. Soda is very bad for you. The carbonation dissolves your teeth and bones. The high fructose corn syrup makes your arteries one step closer to heaven. The artificial colors and flavors are bad for your body in general. It does not hydrate you, so your not getting enough water. Studies show that the lac of water AND drinking too much soda decreases brain function. So to answer your question, yes, it is bad for you. Stay away from it totally if you can.

  9. try opting for a less harmful option - if its caffeine you need, you can go for green tea - a healthier option.

    Try coming down to 1 to 2 cans a week.

    BUt if you are drinking too much sugary drinks it can be a sign  of diabetes so get it checked or better still see how you feel without it , I would make sure I have my blood checked by  the doc just for  peace of mind

  11. well soda is not very healthy.ive been trying to only have a glass a day.but sometimes thats okay to have 2 glasses a day.but thats only if you drink alot of water like me

  12. Well, a lot of people say that´s too bad. When I drink 20 or 30 oz. of soda per day, I feel better and better. Coke is a very very common drink everywhere. Go ahead, drinking soda isn´t bad. No matter what the people say.
