Is it bad to eat raw cookie dough that is store bought?

For example, the Nestle cookie dough.

To the person who claims it has raw eggs they are pasteurized before being made into the cookie dough, and the dough in ice cream doe not have egg in it, if raw eggs were in store bought cookie dough of any kind they would have a 7 day shelf life and then be garbage, so eat all you want, but save some for the cookies.

Everyone does it....I don't think so. Unless you're watching your weight/sugar intake.....then it's bad :)

If you're worried about raw egg....some people drink raw egg (yuck)  it's rare that anyone gets sick.

it should be fine unless you let it sit out for a few hours and get warm...then the raw egg in it might turn bad
