What are the medical explanations that it's not good to exercise when you have your menstrual period?

  2. It's good for you to exercise, especially when you have your period because it can make you less bloated and get rid of cramps.

  3. Actually your supposed to exercise when you have your period. It can ease any pain or discomfort your period causes and it will make you feel a little bit happier aslong as you don't do too much exercise.

    If you are going to do any exercise whilst on your period I recommend drinking lots of water to replace the fluids in your body quickly.

  7. its actually good to exercise on your period because it reduces cramps and fatigue, the only reason i can think of about why women would,nt exercise on their period is because it is uncomfortable

  8. It is not bad to exercise while having a period. In fact it will relax you, if your choice is Yoga, it can be calming as well. if you feel more comfortable exercising lightly during your menses, that is fine, Many swimmers continue with water sports or competition, with the use of a tampon during menses. Other sports as well the runners, etc all need to continue during menses. If you are already engaged in any sports or exercise, continue, your body adjusts to the pace you are keeping and it is good for you.

    Exercises is good whatever the cause.

    Especially when you are on your period, exercise can actually help if you get stomach cramps when on your period.

  11. no the exersize will help with cramps and its a good thing. maybe a little harder (your hips get wider and stuff) but do it.

  12. not al all, but when you will do exercise you will feel it eased the pain.

  13. It's good to exercise when you are on your period.  It helps with cramps, for one.  Also, exercise releases endorphins that help combat PMS.  Much healthier than popping Pamprin and lying on the couch.
