Is it bad to face a sub down in a bandpass box? with magnet facing up?

one 12 inch boston acoustic sub in a bandpass box made for that sub. the sub is facing down and the magnet is facing up. the ports are facing out towards the trunk. is this bad should i face the sub a different way or does it even matter??

The position of the sub really doesn't matter.

What matters is the tuning of the enclosure. As long as the enclosure is made well and designed to meet the specs of the subs, you'll be fine.
